Twenty years taking people onto Titicaca
Sacred Lake Servicios Turísticos has worked on Lake Titicaca since 2004, based in Puno. We run the tours to the Uros, Taquile and Amantani islands, Sillustani and private transfers, with hotel pickup and in-house guides. Kayaking and biking are available on request.
We started in 2004 on the shore of the highest navigable lake in the world, on the idea that Titicaca is best enjoyed with someone who knows it. Twenty years on we still work out of Puno, with the same guides and our own equipment.
We have worked with the communities of the Uros, Taquile and Amantani from the beginning. We are not a reseller passing on a booking: the guide with you is one of ours and knows the families whose table you will share.
And we answer ourselves. When you write on WhatsApp there is no call centre on the other end — there is someone in Puno who knows what the lake is doing that morning.
How we work
- Hotel pickup
- Tours include pickup and drop-off at your hotel in Puno. Transfers run door to door.
- In-house guides
- The same guides for years, in Spanish and English, not seasonal staff on rotation.
- Direct booking
- You write and the operator replies. No platform commission and no chain of middlemen.
- Shared or private
- Almost every tour runs as a shared group or for your group only, on your own schedule.
